Matt Stephens (Chair of the Board)

Business coach, keynote speaker and a serial entrepreneur, Matt lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three sons. Matt has extensive experience in the corporate world having worked with many of the world’s best known brands including ASOS, Starbucks, Caterpillar and HSBC. Since 2012 Matt has been the owner of Quest an Employee Engagement consultancy and in 2015 developed the award-winning employee engagement platform, Inpulse. Matt is Chair of Love146 an international charity that works for the abolition of child exploitation. From 2011-1013 Matt was a member of the Centre for Social Justice working group on the abolition of slavery in the UK. It Happens Here: Equipping the United Kingdom to fight modern slavery was published in 2013 with the UK Government committing to review all of the recommendations with many of them soon to become part of the Modern Slavery Act. In 2010 Matt stood in the General Election as the Parliamentary Candidate for the Conservative Party in Don Valley. He is currently a Councillor at St Albans District Council and remains actively involved in national and local politics.

Rob Morris (Co-founder)

Rob Morris is the President and co-founder of Love146, an International human rights organization working to prevent and end child trafficking and exploitation. Rob and his colleagues founded Love146 in 2002 to bring holistic survivor care, community mobilization, and prevention programming to local communities. Love146 started as a grassroots work but has evolved to be key thought leaders and practitioners in the anti-trafficking field. Prior to co-founding Love146, Rob worked with Mercy Ships International directing training schools at the International Operations Center. He has lectured and taught in over 20 countries and has been featured in the Huffington Post, the CNN Freedom Project, Forbes, and many other publications. Rob frequently speaks on the topics of compassion, justice, resiliency, and defiant hope – all lessons he has learned from the children in the care of Love146.

Jennifer Herrera (Treasurer)

Jennifer Herrera is CEO of two national charities, Acts 435, helping people in UK poverty, and ASB Help, campaigning for the rights of victims of anti-social behaviour. Jenny grew up in York and is a chartered accountant by profession. She lived in Guatemala in Central America for 6 years, and where she served as Field Director for Kids Alive Guatemala, running an orphanage and day-care centre.

Steve Martin

Steve is the Co-Founder and President of Infused Impact, an international charity supporting entrepreneurs in developing nations so they can lift themselves and their communities out of poverty. Previously, he served as Love146’s CEO where over 14 years he stewarded Love146’s growth into a global charity. His management background began with 10-years in global media production. After which he launched an international media company spearheading the online distribution of broadcast video. In 2005 he joined the early Love146 charity with three staff and pioneered the organisation’s growth including its international expansion. After 14 years Love146’s 80+ global staff, in five offices and three global regions impacted over 55,0000 children. Steve continues to serve on the Love146 UK and Philippines boards.

Nadine finch

Nadine is an expert in children’s rights and human trafficking law and has undertaken work as a consultant for UNHCR, UNICEF and the OCHCR and has researched and written widely in these areas. She sits on the advisory board for the EU Commission funded project, UNICEF UK’s project on Achieving durable solutions for trafficked children and EU Commission funded project ReACT: Reinforcing Assistance to Child Victims of Trafficking. Currently Honorary Senior Policy Fellow at University of Bristol and Associate of charity, Child Circle.  

“I have been working on behalf of children who have been trafficked for two decades now and compared to then the awareness of this gross human rights abuse has improved to a certain extent. However, much more needs to be done to identify and protect these children. I hope to continue to play my part in this by serving on the Love146 UK board.”

As a Love146 Ambassador, I see the crucial, innovative work Love146 do themselves, and in collaboration with others, to protect those whose childhoods are lost to traffickers, and people who wish to exploit and harm them, and I am proud to lend my support. It really gives these children and young people affected a new start in life."

Our Ambassador, Bin Afolami, is a memeber of Parliment for hitchin and Harpenden since 2017. Despite being of of the youngest Memebers of  Parliament, he has already had a varied business career in the City advertising some of the biggest compaines in the world, both British and internatioanl – forst as a corporate lawyer and thenfor HSBC. Raised by parents who worked in the NHS, he is passionate about improving equality and opportunity for all, and as a Love146 Ambassadoe promeotes our work in supporting children and young people who have been trafficked and exploited. Bin has also been a primary school governor and has volunteered for charities that focus on helping people return to work. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of the Ditchley Foiundation.
